Michael J. Chernick Receives Achievement Award
The Legal Services Staff Section is pleased to present Michael J. Chernick with the 2009 Legislative Staff Achievement Award. He has served LSSS as chair in 2005-06, vice-chair 2004-05, and as a director on the LSSS executive committee. Michael has been a member or the chair of nearly every LSSS committee. Even after completing his term as the chair of the LSSS, Michael has always been willing to lend a hand whenever he is needed. He is very active on the LSSS listserv providing information on Vermont law and the legislature. Michael also served NCSL as a member of the NCSL Legislative Staff Coordinating Committee from 2004 to 2006.
Throughout his tenure with the legislative council, Michael has served with dedication and diligence.
