This summer in Louisville, 5000-6000 individuals interested in public policy will gather to solve America’s toughest problems. This four-day meeting will provide a forum for state legislators and legislative staff to network, exchange ideas, hear from leading experts and build strong legislative institutions.
Your state needs you to lead the way during these challenging times. The Summit will address serious concerns such as:
- state budget deficits;
- healthcare reform;
- transportation funding;
- higher education costs;
- and many other issues facing the states.

After a full day of educational sessions, take a walk along the bustling streets of downtown. Visit Museum Row on Main, which houses nine original attractions all within a six-block radius:

- and the new 21C Museum Hotel.
Sports lovers can see the world’s biggest bat on display at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. Stroll along the Urban Bourbon Trail or just catch up with colleagues out at Fourth Street Live, the city’s premier dining and entertainment district - just steps from the Convention Center.
