State Unemployment for May 2009

Unemployment rates for May 2009 showed disappointing news for the states.  Unemployment increased in 48 states and D.C.  Only Puerto Rico posted a decrease. More. 

 

National Unemployment at 9.5%

The national unemployment rate rose to 9.5 percent in June, a slight increase over the 9.4 rate recorded in May, according to figures released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on July 2, 2009.  More.
